Over the past couple of years, the church set out on a mission to expand the worship center to accommodate the church’s growth. An ambitious phase 1 fundraising goal was set for the end of 2018. Coming into October the fundraising was still short. At our Thanksgiving service and dinner a special offering was received and through faithful and sacrificial giving of the church members, this goal was met. With God’s help we plan to be in the new building by Christmas next year! More updates will be provided here as the construction goes forward. So exciting to see God in action.
Update Summer 2019: Its not the most exciting parts of the project but we got our new septic system in! While its not pretty like paint and tile , we can sure all agree that we are aware when its not working. Huge step forward and we are very blessed that this important step in our building project is completed. No pictures necessary…
Update Fall 2019: Our plans were received and accepted from the city council! A huge step forward as we continue on our project. We now begin the final process of selecting a builder. We will obviously not meet our goal of a new building by Christmas but we press on.
Phillipians 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Update Jan 2020: Our permit and approval process is complete! We are now hoping to have our ground breaking ceremony by the early part of Feb. The initial phases of the project will be getting the foundation poured and the new parking areas and driveway paved. Exciting progress!
Update Feb 6th 2020: Groundbreaking! The dirt is finally moving. After 4 years of planning, preparing and praying we have begun the construction process. We had absolutely beautiful weather for the day and many of the church members came out to participate. The Liberty Hill Independent covered the event and you can see the story they published here.
