Pastor Robert Butts was called to Pastor Union Hall Baptist Church in October 2012. From 2001 - 2012 Pastor Butts ministered at Westside Baptist Church in Katy, Texas, working with the Youth & Children’s Ministries as well as the Young Married Couples and was also the Administrator of Westside Baptist Academy from 2007 - 2012.
With God’s inspiration and pastor’s leadership, UHBC has continued winning souls and making God’s house a home to more and more families. In February of 2020, UHBC launched a building and property expansion program to accommodate the growth of the Church Family as well as community growth. The project was completed and dedicated Easter Sunday of 2021.
Our pastor's mission is to boldly preach the whole counsel of God and to lovingly shepherding the flock.

Bro. Chad has been attending UHBC since 2016 when he moved to Liberty Hill from his hometown of Goliad, Texas. Shortly after joining the UHBC family, he began working with the teens and teaching the teen Sunday School, and he served in that capacity for a few years before taking on the role of leading our children’s church program.
In early 2023 Bro. Chad came on Full-time staff here at UHBC. Some of Bro. Chad's responsibilities include, “Captain” of our Patch the Pirate club, Children's Ministries & Property Maintenance Director.
Bro. Chad has been married to his wife Krystal for 13 years, and they have 4 children, with a 5th one due in October.
